Between a Minute and a Lifetime

I flop back and forth from feeling I saw Lucy just seconds ago and the feeling that it never even happened. It's been a week since I boarded the plane from Taiwan?leaving my daughter a changed person. I realized last night that I resumed life as usual and kept myself busy, all to keep me from really dealing with what had just happened. My brain and heart are still on overdrive as I process what I experienced. When I think about her and how badly she needs to be home with us, it's truly too much to take.
