Be My Guest...

Sometimes Mama needs a blogging break. So I've started the "guest blogger" series. Here's the very first edition.

"I must admit, it's a little unsettling to write publicly like this. Jackie has been teasing me for some time about not writing anything for the blog. But the truth is that while it is therapeutic for her, it's awkward for me.

That being said, here I am. The Dad.

I guess all I really want to say is that I miss my little girl more than words and can't wait to go get her. I know that everyone out there going through their own adoption knows exactly how I feel. I am very grateful for the support the community has shown. Even though I don't write on the blog, I sure do read them. I also want to thank friends and family for their love and support. It has meant
everything to us. Now, if we could just get that phone call..."
